It's family-run and rooted in the village, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that leans more "locals' favourite" than polished destination.
Inside, it's classic pub comfort, while outside there's a large garden that comes into its own in warmer months. There's a strong beer focus too, with a rotating line-up of real ales alongside solid pub food — the kind of place where you come for one and end up staying longer than planned.
