The Welsh Deli is a café and deli on John Street in the heart of Porthcawl, serving home-cooked breakfasts, lunches, cakes and hot drinks throughout the week.

Dogs are welcome inside, so you can settle in together at a table without having to tie up outside or take turns watching from the pavement. The menu focuses on freshly prepared café classics, from morning toast and bacon rolls through to hearty lunch plates and generous slices of cake with a proper pot of tea. It's the sort of central stop that works after a promenade walk, between errands or when you simply need to sit down with a coffee and let the dog dry off under the table.

Open Monday to Saturday from 9am until 5pm and Sunday from 9.30am to 3.30pm, The Welsh Deli offers a reliable town-centre option when most of your day revolves around keeping everyone fed, warm and in the same room.
