The Windsor Castle Pub is a proper local on the west side of Windsor where dogs are welcome inside the conservatory, so nobody has to volunteer for pavement duty. It's the kind of neighbourhood pub that serves food and keeps sensible hours, with tables opening from lunchtime Wednesday through to the weekend and evenings Monday to Tuesday.
The conservatory is the dog-friendly zone, which means your dog gets a spot indoors while you settle in with a meal and a drink. It's a straightforward, warm welcome without fuss and the pub has a solid reputation for atmosphere and reliability.
Handy if you're visiting Windsor Great Park or finishing a walk along the Long Walk and need somewhere welcoming to regroup. The pub opens at 5pm Monday and Tuesday, from noon Wednesday to Friday and from 10am at weekends, closing at 11pm most nights except Monday and Tuesday when last orders are at 8pm.
