Tilley Raven is a countryside bar and restaurant just outside Shrewsbury with a relaxed, friendly feel and a very obvious welcome for muddy boots and dogs. The rural setting makes it a natural stop after a walk or fresh-air outing, with dogs welcome inside alongside their people.

Its menu-led approach suits longer, more leisurely visits rather than a quick pint and dash. Expect hearty food, slower afternoons and proper comfort at the end of a countryside wander.

Tilley Raven is developing a dedicated dog menu and also has plans for social dog walks to bring everyone together. It is truly the kind of place where dogs can curl up afterwards as though they personally organised the whole countryside.
