The Tobie Norris is a historic pub right in the centre of Stamford where dogs are welcome inside. Settle in at the table with your sidekick for proper pub food and a drink – lunch is served daily from midday and the atmosphere is as warm as the welcome.

The building itself is a charming slice of Stamford's past and the team are known for being attentive to both two-legged and four-legged visitors. It's the sort of place where your dog can supervise proceedings from under the table while you tuck into a proper meal.

Open Monday to Saturday from noon until 11pm and Sundays until 8pm, it's a brilliantly central pit stop when you're exploring Stamford on foot. No need to leave anyone outside – just bring the lead and enjoy a sit-down together.
