TJ's Bar & Kitchen is one of those bright, easygoing spots where you can drift in for a drink and very quickly decide to stay for food too. The bar leans into local flavour, pouring Bluntrock Brewery's Pagan Juice and Powderkeg Trailblazer alongside a solid mix of ciders and lagers, giving it that relaxed, coastal craft feel.
On the food side, it's a confident, crowd-pleasing menu with plenty to get stuck into, from hand-stretched pizzas to flat iron steak with fries and peppercorn sauce, plus lighter options like sea bass with salsa verde and a proper, flavour-packed lamb shish with homemade tzatziki. It's the kind of place that works just as well for a casual bite as it does for a longer, linger-over-it meal.
Dogs are welcome inside, so they can join you while you settle in, ideally supervising the table in case anything "accidentally" drops.
