The Two Sawyers is one of those tucked-away Canterbury pubs that feels like a proper local find. Set on Ivy Lane just outside the busiest streets, it leans into that quaint, traditional charm, and dogs are welcome inside and out, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle while someone else claims the fireside spot.

Drinks are a real highlight here, with a huge selection of gins alongside well-kept real ales, making it an easy win whether you're in the mood to explore something new or stick with a classic. Food is served daily too, with a menu of pub favourites that fits the setting without overcomplicating things. There's a real fire inside for colder evenings and a covered outdoor space that works whatever the weather decides to do.

It's the kind of place where the atmosphere is as much of a draw as what's behind the bar, with a weekly quiz night and enough cosy corners for paws and people to settle in together. A proper local that keeps bringing people back 🐾

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside and out, so they can join you by the fire or in the garden. Keep them on a lead and close in busy areas, and everyone stays happy.
