Upton House and Gardens

Upton House and Gardens is a National Trust country estate near Warwick, set in sweeping parkland with terraced gardens, a historic house and an acclaimed art collection. The 1930s house and formal gardens make it a handsome full day out, though dogs are welcome only in the nearby open spaces and around the property grounds, depending on the season.

Well-behaved dogs on short leads can enjoy the surrounding parkland and outdoor areas, but the house, gardens and indoor visitor facilities remain assistance-dogs-only. It's a good choice if you're combining a countryside walk with a quieter National Trust visit, though your dog will need to sit this one out while you explore the interiors.

The property opens daily from 11 am to 4 pm. The car park is 300 yards from the house and locked outside opening hours, with a shuttle service available when the property is busy.
