Victoria Park is a historic city park in Salisbury, close to the centre and useful for a straightforward outdoor visit with your dog. The park features formal planting in the southern section, a play area, tennis courts and a pavilion, all set in traditional grounds that give a green break from the city streets.

Dogs are welcome in the park grounds but must be kept on lead throughout your visit, in line with official Salisbury City Council parks guidance. It's a shared outdoor space with family and sports facilities, so the lead requirement keeps everyone happy and avoids tangled chaos near the play equipment or tennis nets.

The park is open Tuesday to Friday 9am to 4pm, Saturday 8.30am to 4pm and Sunday 9.30am to 4pm; it closes on Mondays. There's limited free parking for park users near the Stratford Road entrance, which makes arrival and exit easier when you've got leads and bags to juggle.
