That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

A purpose-built, fully enclosed dog field near Sandwich, Waggy Tails Play Park is all about giving dogs the space to properly stretch their legs without the usual “keep an eye out” stress. Set within the countryside at Turners Folly Field, it’s designed for safe, off-lead freedom, with secure 6ft fencing and a private-use setup so it’s just you, your dog and as many zoomies as they can fit into the session.

Inside, it’s geared for both play and pause. Expect open space for running, activity equipment for a bit of training or chaos (depending on your dog’s agenda), plus practical touches like fresh water, seating and a shelter for those classic British “we’ll stay anyway” weather moments.

It’s the kind of place where dogs can switch off from busy walks and just be dogs, whether that means full-speed laps, sniff-heavy exploring or proudly carrying the same ball for 50 minutes straight while you sit back and enjoy the calm.

Good to know:

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome for private-use sessions, with the play park asking owners to supervise dogs at all times and close both gates behind them for safety.
