Waterfalls Gift Shop and Coffee Shop in Hastings is a gift shop and café combo that works brilliantly as a practical break on a walk. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement shuffle while one person browses and the other waits outside. The gift shop is downstairs, and the café is tucked upstairs on the first floor.
Grab a drink, browse the shelves for gifts from brands like Jellycat and Roka, and attempt to leave without buying something you didn't know you needed. The café serves vegetarian and vegan food, homemade cakes, paninis, sandwiches and proper coffee. Open Monday to Saturday, 09:00–17:30.
If your dog comes inside, keep them close because gift displays are basically a sniff buffet. It's the kind of stop that keeps paws and people together while you work out whether you really need that candle.
