Watergates Bar

Said to be situated in the oldest medieval crypt in England, the Watergates Bar is our historic pub in Chester. Our building dates back to the 12th century, but today we offer a vibrant atmosphere which is perfect for a family-friendly meal out, or a stop off with your pooch for a dog-friendly pint of water.

Our restaurant sits beneath vaulted stone ceilings, steeped in years of history, and our wooden-clad bar is stocked with your favourite beers, wines and spirits. We have a small beer garden, which is perfect for soaking up those sunny days, and live sport on show through our Sky Sports and TNT Sports screens.
