The Watermill is a proper pub on the Ogmore-by-Sea road just outside Porthcawl and dogs are welcome inside the bar area. Food is served throughout the day, so you and your table supervisor can settle in after a long beach or riverside ramble. The kitchen runs from half eleven in the morning until nine in the evening, seven days a week.

The bar is the dog-friendly zone and it's a useful stop if you've been down at Ogmore beach or walked the river path and need somewhere warm and sociable. The pub opens at eleven every day, making it handy for an early weekend pint or a late lunch with wet paws under the table.

There's no mention of water bowls or dog treats in the evidence, but the welcome is clear and the food service is long enough to cover most visit windows. It's the sort of place that makes sense when the weather turns or the dog's had enough seaside for one morning.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Free treats available

Doggy menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome in the bar area and food is served there too. It's a practical stop after coastal or riverside walks when everyone needs a sit-down.
