Wellies Tea Rooms is a rural tearoom near Chichester where dogs are welcome inside, so the whole group can settle in for breakfast, lunch or a proper afternoon tea. It's tucked close to West Stoke, Goodwood and Kingley Vale, making it a useful stop after walks across the Sussex Downs.

The menu runs from early morning through to 16:00 daily, with classic tearoom fare served in a setting that lets your dog join you at the table. Whether you're after a full breakfast or just cake and a pot of tea, there's no need to leave anyone outside.

Wellies is open Tuesday to Sunday, closed Mondays. It's the sort of place that works when you want proper sit-down food without the usual scramble to find somewhere that'll actually let your muddy companion through the door.
