That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

West Acre Gardens is a specialist plant nursery and walled-garden display set in the village of West Acre, just north of Swaffham and within easy reach of King's Lynn. Dogs are welcome inside the nursery and throughout the gardens, making it a quietly brilliant destination when you want both plants and the dog with you.

The nursery offers a good range of stock in a distinctive walled-garden setting and there's an on-site Apple Cafe for a break between browsing. Well-trained dogs are welcome on leads, so you can wander the growing displays together without the usual splitting-up logistics.

It's the kind of place where a sniff break round the gravel paths feels entirely reasonable and nobody minds a damp paw print by the terracotta. The nursery format means plenty of outdoor space and the fact your dog can accompany you through the plant sales makes the visit genuinely workable rather than theoretical.

Good to know:

Dog Policy:

Well-trained dogs are welcome on a lead in the nursery and gardens. The on-site cafe is separate; dog access there has not been confirmed.
