Weymouth and Portland Boat Trips runs hour-long harbour and bay cruises from Custom House Quay in Weymouth Harbour, taking in local history and coastal views across Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour. Dogs are welcome on board and daily departures run from 10am or 10.30am, weather permitting, so check sailing times on the day. There's no booking required, but aim to check in about 15 to 30 minutes before departure.
Your dog travels on a lead and must stay off the seats, which keeps everyone comfortable in the shared passenger space. It's a proper boat trip day out and the enclosed deck means you're both sheltered if the weather turns. The boat leaves from the Ferry Steps near Weymouth Pavilion in the harbour area.
There's no venue-owned parking, so plan for public harbour parking and a short walk to the boarding point. Dogs aren't charged separately for the trip.
