The White Hart Inn is a traditional pub in the centre of Aldeburgh, where dogs are welcome inside the bar area. It's an easy drop-in after a seafront promenade or a wander through the town's streets and nobody has to volunteer for pavement duty while the rest of the group heads indoors.

Well-behaved dogs are welcomed and the official site mentions a dog biscuit for visiting four-legged guests. Food isn't served inside, so this is mainly a drink stop rather than a full dining pub, but it's a practical pause point when you need somewhere central and genuinely dog-friendly.

The pub opens Monday to Thursday from 11:30 am to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:30 am to 11 pm and Sunday from noon to 10:30 pm. It's right in the heart of Aldeburgh, making it a straightforward choice when the walk's done and you'd both like to settle in somewhere warm.
