The White Hart Inn is a traditional Hawes pub right in the centre of town, serving food and drink with dogs welcome inside the bar and part of the restaurant. It's a practical stop after a Wensleydale walk, with water bowls and treats in the bar and on-site parking so you're not wrestling the lead around market-day streets.

The kitchen runs lunchtimes and evenings Monday to Saturday, all day Sunday and the pub stays open until 10pm every day. Dogs can settle in beside you while you eat, which means no pavement shuffle or apologetic takeaway pints.

The bar area gives you space to dry off and let the dog supervise proceedings and the dog-friendly section of the restaurant means the whole group can sit down together. It's a straightforward, welcoming inn in the heart of the Dales, built for visitors who need dogs and humans under the same roof.
