Bodega Bar & Tapas is a lively central bar in Bowness-on-Windermere, open daily from 11:30 am until midnight. Dogs are welcome inside in the downstairs bar, so the whole group can settle in for tapas and drinks without anyone getting stuck outside with the lead.
The menu runs to Spanish-style small plates and sharing dishes and dogs are welcome to join you for food until 6 pm. It's the sort of place where you can stop in for a late-morning vermouth or an evening gin without having to time your visit around the dog's patience threshold.
The two-floor layout means there's a buzz upstairs and a more relaxed vibe down in the dog-friendly bar area. It's a useful pit stop after a day around the lake, especially when everywhere else has stopped serving and you're still looking for somewhere warm with decent food and a drink.
