That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

This is one of those dog fields that’s been built with both chaos and recovery in mind. Just outside Winterton-on-Sea, it’s a fully enclosed space where you can shut the gate, switch your brain off, and let the dog go full zoomie mode without scanning the horizon every five seconds.
The field itself is secure (with proper fencing and anti-escape measures), giving you that rare “relax properly” feeling — whether you’ve got a reactive dog, a selective listener, or just one who thinks recall is more of a suggestion. There’s space to run, toys and obstacles to keep things interesting, and enough room for those slightly unhinged energy bursts that always seem to appear out of nowhere.
When the warmer months roll in, things level up slightly… paddling pools appear. Not just one, but different sizes for different levels of splash ambition, meaning everything from tentative toe-dippers to full-body launchers are covered. Towels suddenly become part of the plan rather than an afterthought.
But what really makes this one stand out is how well it handles the after. Water, bowls, and those all-important towels are available on site, so when your dog inevitably upgrades from “lightly muddy” to “what happened here”, you’ve got everything you need to take the edge off before heading home. There’s also parking right by the field, a sheltered hut for humans (yes, really), and even toilet facilities — which suddenly feels like luxury when you’ve been out longer than planned.
They also host the occasional event, including a Summer Fayre and Fun Dog Show on 8th August in support of Guide Dogs for the Blind — the kind of day where the chaos is organised, the snacks are flowing, and every dog leaves thinking they’ve won something (which, honestly, they have).
