The Witch & Wardrobe is a Lincoln pub tucked into the uphill visitor quarter, a handy stop when you're exploring the castle and cathedral area with your dog. Dogs are welcome inside the whole pub, so there's no separation at the door and everyone can settle in together while you eat or drink.

Food is served at lunch Monday to Sunday from noon until 3pm, covering the heart of the daytime visit. The pub opens at 10am Monday to Thursday and closes at 11pm, with later weekend hours on Fridays and Saturdays until midnight and Sunday 11am to 11pm.

It's the kind of place where the logistics just work: you can keep the dog with you through the whole visit, whether you're after a quick pint or a proper sit-down meal. The uphill location makes it an easy pause during a castle-and-cathedral loop and the full indoor welcome means wet paws and tangled leads don't have to mean a change of plan.
