Woolston Park is a spacious all-round park that works well when the aim is simply to get outside and let the walk unfold. It is open 24 hours a day and includes woodland walks, wetlands, water features, grassland, picnic benches, a car park and children’s play areas, so there is enough variety to suit a quick leg stretch or a longer mooch. The setting feels greener and more textured than a plain open field, which helps if you want scenery with your steps. Good for everyday outings, family walks and dogs who appreciate a route with a few different smells, surfaces and distractions along the way.
