Worcester Cathedral is one of Worcester’s standout dog-friendly landmarks, giving you a proper slice of history without needing to leave the dog outside. Sitting above the River Severn right in the city centre, it mixes huge architecture, peaceful grounds, and that slightly awe-struck “everyone whisper and sniff respectfully” energy.

There is plenty to admire inside, from medieval details to royal tombs and stained glass, so it works well as a slower-paced stop between city wandering and lunch. A very good option when you want something memorable, central, and genuinely welcoming to dogs inside.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside Worcester Cathedral and in the grounds. Dogs need to stay under control, and they are not allowed on tours, in the shop, in the Crypt, or inside the Cloister Café itself, though they are welcome at café tables in the Cloister or Chapter House.
