The Wykeham Arms is a classic central Winchester pub tucked in the historic heart of the city, close to Winchester Cathedral and the college quarter. Dogs are welcome inside the bar area, where food is served alongside a full drinks menu.
It's the sort of proper pub stop where the whole group can eat, drink and settle in together. The kitchen runs Monday to Thursday noon till 9pm, Friday and Saturday noon till 9.30pm and Sunday with a split service from noon to 4.30pm then 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
The pub itself opens 11am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 10pm on Sunday. Whether you're breaking up a cathedral wander or dodging the rain after a walk round the city, this is a practical dog-friendly pit stop with proper pub food and a warm welcome for well-behaved dogs in the bar.
