Yorkshire Coast Dinosaur and Fossil Museum is a fun Robin Hood’s Bay stop for dog owners whose day out could use a little more prehistoric chaos. This quirky village attraction mixes fossils, crystals, replicas and gifts, making it a great little browse for anyone already caught up in the Yorkshire coast’s fossil-hunting magic. It fits particularly well after beach exploring, when pockets are suddenly full of suspiciously important pebbles and somebody is convinced they nearly found a dinosaur. For visitors with dogs, it adds a playful, slightly offbeat stop to the day and leans into everything that makes Robin Hood’s Bay feel so distinctive. Think curiosity, conversation starters and a bit of “we only popped in” energy that somehow turns into a full fossil inspection with the dog supervising from below.
