Woofworthy is a secure 1 acre field in the town of Holsworthy, Devon. Woofworthy offers a private, safe and stress free environment for dog owners to walk, train and have fun with their dogs, in a beautiful and quiet setting, without the worry of your dog running off, or other dogs, people or distractions interrupting.
Woofworthy is perfect for building confidence in puppies, young dogs and rescue dogs. It’s also ideal for dogs recovering from illness or injuries, bitches in season and older dogs who want a peaceful potter around, or a calm exercise space. Woofworthy is great for dogs that find other dogs or people worrying as they and their owners can relax knowing they have exclusive use of the field. Exempted dogs are also welcome (subject to conditions).
Woofworthy is a super space for training dogs of all ages and sizes and developing skills such as recall, retrieve, search work, agility etc. Dogs can run free, play, sniff and explore, and there is also a fun selection of equipment and obstacles available to challenge and stimulate your dogs. Owners can rid any fears of their dogs running off, chasing prey or livestock, escaping to other people’s property or onto roads, or of meeting other dogs/people, and instead, just focus on having fun together.
Woofworthy is less than 1 mile from the centre of Holsworthy. It can be easily accessed by car from all surrounding areas and even on foot for those that live locally, so why not add a visit into your usual walk? Woofworthy is open 8am-7pm ¹ seven days a week, meaning there is plenty of availability for those that work full time or shifts, and who want to exercise their dogs before or after work. It is also a great space for lone walkers to feel safe and secure, or why not arrange to meet up with a friend with their dogs (2 cars & 4 dogs maximum per session) We offer 50 minute time slots starting on the hour and finishing at 10 to the hour – this is to avoid meeting other users at the start and end of sessions. It is possible to book time slots well in advance and you can book regular slots each week.
