Welcome to Jude the Obscure pub, a family-friendly spot with delicious dining and a welcoming charm in the heart of the Oxford suburb of Jericho.

Our pub originally opened in 1871 as The Prince of Wales but we earned our unique name almost 30 years ago to celebrate the local associations with Thomas Hardy's literary classic.

Book a table and enjoy a dish from our pub food menu or treat yourself to a drink from our well-stocked bar, with a generous array of beers from local craft breweries White Horse and Siren, as well as our popular house brew Obscurity. We've got TNT Sports and Sky Sports showing the latest action, plus our huge beer garden is a gorgeous spot to seize the summer sunshine, with heated shelter if the weather takes a turn

We love to meet your four legged friends so bring them in.
