Budapest Cafe https://budapestcafe.co.uk/ Last Updated: 17 Dec 2025 We are Zsuzsanna and Brigitta, from Hungary. We are sisters, and we have been dreaming about opening a Cafe for many years. We would like to show that Hungarian Cuisine is much more than Goulash. That’s why we only serve traditional home made hungarian food and cakes. We’ve had many years of experience working in the hospitality sector before we’ve opened our own Cafe. And we had no doubt that we would like to continue to provide excellent service for our customers. Zsuzsanna cooks all of our food and cakes from traditional hungarian ingredients. I just call her a magician, as I honestly believe that my sister’s food and cakes are truly amazing. We are dog friendly so bring them in! Please mention you found us on The Dog Friendly Map. • Made In Hastings | The Dog Friendly Map

Hastings: Dog Friendly Venues Made In Hastings https://www.madeinhastings.co.uk/ Last Updated: 17 Dec 2025 Made in Hastings opened in the summer of 2004 to provide an outlet for the work of the founding members and local creatives. The idea grew from a successful Open Studio sale where Sue, Josephine, Sophie, Judith, Claire and Melanie all first met. Between us we realised that sharing our combined skills, experiences and expertise could allow us an opportunity to focus on our individual businesses and also have somewhere to sell our work. Many meetings later we set about finding a suitable premises to open a shop that would suit our needs. No 82 the High Street in the Old Town just happened to come up for rent and in June 2004 we opened our doors for the first time. In the early days we focused on our own work but soon started to include the work of many talented local people and have forged strong relationships with our makers over the years. As well as our own work we sell for between sixty and eighty talented craftspeople from the local area and some from further afield. TO HASTINGS DOG FRIENDLY MAP

Cantebury: Dog Friendly Venues St Augustine's Abbey https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/st-augustines-abbey/ Last Updated: 17 Dec 2025 Founded in AD 598 by St Augustine himself, this once-great abbey proclaims the rebirth of Christianity in southern England. It’s a must-see for anyone visiting the Canterbury World Heritage Site. Augustine, a missionary from Rome, baptised the pagan King Ethelbert of Kent, the most powerful Anglo-Saxon monarch and the first to convert to Christianity. To mark his conversion, Ethelbert gave Augustine land to build this very first monastery in Anglo-Saxon England. The site museum traces how the Saxon monastery was magnificently rebuilt by the Normans before becoming a Tudor royal palace. St Augustine's Abbey has been awarded a Bronze Green Impact Award.
