Nestled in the heart of Whitby under the gaze of the ancient ruins of Whitby Abbey lies the intriguing Sherlocks Coffee house.

An old bike leans against this wonderous building dating back to the 1600s where is was once amongst others trades a butchers and a dwelling house that housed many families in each room.

Now the captivating Sherlocks Coffee house serves delicious food and beverages in our unique surroundings where you can enjoy our delicious Yorkshire Cream Teas.

We have 3 charming rooms you can dine in; the ground floor rooms accommodate well behaved dogs. Then up a flight of wooden stairs leads you to our first floor room where you can watch the hustle and bustle below of one the oldest streets in Whitby.
