Aubourn Estate Gardens is a historic landscaped estate just outside Lincoln, offering dog owners a proper open-garden day out across themed garden rooms, woodland walks and distinctive planted areas. The gardens open on seasonal dates through the summer, with guided tours available by arrangement for groups.

Dogs are welcome throughout the garden grounds on a lead, so you can explore the estate's stumpery, labyrinth and woodland together without the logistics of kennel drop-offs or car-bound sulking. Accessible parking is available on site, making arrival straightforward even when you're juggling leads, bags and everything else.

This is a substantial visitor attraction rather than a quick park stroll, with enough variety and space to make a genuine expedition of it. The estate publishes its 2026 open-garden dates well in advance—14 June, 28 June, 5 July, 19 July, 2 August, 16 August and 30 August—so you can plan around the dog and the diary in one go.
