Bowring Hepple Black is a family-run, independent film and TV merchandise shop in Alnwick, specialising in gifts and collectibles from the Harry Potter franchise. Set on Narrowgate in the town’s Castle Quarter, it was created from a shared family love of the Wizarding World and a big soft spot for their historic hometown.

Inside you’ll find everything from stationery to replica wands, plus plenty of “just a quick look” temptation for anyone who’s ever wanted to live their best magical life. It’s charming, browseable, and dangerously good at turning “I’m only popping in” into “how did I end up carrying a wand and a tote bag”.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and there’s even a range of Harry Potter pet toys, so your pup can get involved in the wizarding world too.
