Brandon Hill is Bristol's oldest park and one of those rare city spaces that feels like a proper escape the moment you're in it. Set just off Park Street, it rises up through winding paths, open green patches and pockets of woodland, all leading to the iconic Cabot Tower sitting proudly at the top.

It's a great stretch-the-legs-before-or-after-town spot, with plenty of routes to wander depending on how ambitious you're feeling—some gentler, some very much not. Dogs tend to love it here, with lots of new smells, different terrain and enough space to make it feel like a proper outing rather than just a quick loop.

Add in the views over the city from the top, and it quietly turns into one of those places you end up returning to more than planned. Dogs are welcome throughout, making it an easy go-to for a proper city walk rather than a pavement loop.
