Bure Valley Railway is a heritage steam railway running between Aylsham and Wroxham in Norfolk, offering a 45-minute journey each way through the Bure Valley. Dogs are welcome on the train alongside you, with access to all areas of the railway including both stations, the Whistlestop Café and the model shop. You'll need to book a dog ticket at the same time as your own and leads are required throughout.

Aylsham Station is open daily from 09:00 to 16:30, while Wroxham Station opens when trains are running. The Whistlestop Café serves from 09:00 to 16:00 daily and Dogs are welcome inside so you can both take a break before or after the journey. Free parking is available at both stations.

It's a proper day out where your dog gets the full heritage railway experience rather than waiting outside. The journey covers the whole route in both directions, so you can ride the full circuit or break it up with a station stop and a wander.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome on the train and throughout the railway including both stations and the café, but must stay on leads at all times. You'll need to book a dog ticket alongside your own.
