Cafe 1 is a dog-friendly restaurant on Castle Street in the heart of Inverness, where dogs are welcome inside in the front window section. It's a handy central spot when you're exploring the Old Town and the River Ness with your dog and everyone needs to sit down for proper food. The menu runs from lunch through to evening service, with hours that shift through the week.

Dogs can settle in beside you while you eat, which beats the usual juggling act of leaving someone outside with the lead. Open Monday and Tuesday from 3pm, Wednesday and Thursday for lunch and dinner and Friday and Saturday from 12.30pm.

Closed Sundays. It's a central city-centre restaurant, so useful for visitors who want to keep their dog with them while they refuel between Castle Street and the riverside walking routes.
