Charlie's Cafe is a dog-friendly cafe in the heart of Inverness where dogs are welcome inside while you enjoy breakfast, lunch or a coffee break. Set close to the bus station, it's a handy pit stop if you're exploring the city centre with your dog and need somewhere warm and relaxed to sit down together. Inside there are around 40 seats and a menu of homemade food alongside the usual cafe drinks.

The atmosphere is low-key and practical – the sort of place where tangled leads and a paw on your foot under the table won't raise an eyebrow. They also sell newspapers, magazines, sweets and ice cream if you need supplies for the road.

Open Monday to Saturday from 6.30am until 7pm and Sundays from 9am to 6pm, so you can plan an early start or a late-afternoon refuel. It's an easy, central option when you want food, a seat and your dog by your side without any fuss.
