Comfort Foods is a dog-friendly café and deli on Church Street in central Inverness, where dogs are welcome inside for a proper sit-in stop. It doubles as a butchers, greengrocers and delicatessen, so you can pick up supplies while your dog keeps you company at the table. The café serves food and drinks throughout the day, open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM until 5:30 PM.

It's closed Sundays. The Church Street location makes it an easy pit-stop during a wander through the city centre, with indoor seating where dogs can settle in alongside you.

Whether you're after breakfast, lunch or a mid-morning coffee break, this is the kind of practical, multi-purpose spot that fits neatly into a dog day out. Grab a sandwich, stock up on groceries and let your dog supervise proceedings from under the table.
