The Crabshell Inn is a dog-friendly pub in Kingsbridge, just off the estuary and around five miles from Salcombe. Dogs are welcome inside the bar area, where food is served daily from 11:30am to 9:30pm, so the whole crew can settle in together for lunch or dinner without splitting up.

The pub opens at 11am Monday to Sunday, closing at 11pm most nights and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. There's a venue car park with 24 spaces and a dedicated disabled bay by the entrance, which sorts the usual estuary-visit parking scramble before you've even unclipped a lead.

It's a practical spot for anyone combining estuary walks with proper food and a pint, or needing a reliable Salcombe-area pub when the waterfront gets busy. Pull up a chair, order at the bar and let your dog supervise proceedings from under the table.
