The Dores Inn is a classic Loch Ness-side pub where dogs are welcome inside the bar area and food is served there too—so the whole group can settle in together after a morning by the water. It sits just outside Inverness on the south-west shore, a sensible stop for visitors exploring the loch or walking the nearby beach at Dores.

The bar area welcomes dogs alongside diners, so you can order lunch without leaving anyone outside. Expect pub staples, local ales and a mix of walkers, tourists and locals who appreciate a practical pit-stop with Loch Ness views.

Opening hours are Thursday to Saturday 12pm–10pm and Sunday 12pm–8pm; closed Monday to Wednesday. It's a useful refuelling point for dog owners heading around the loch or breaking up the drive along the B862.
