The Ferry Boat Inn is a traditional village pub in Dittisham, just across the river from Dartmouth, where dogs are welcome inside. Set beside the River Dart, it's a popular stop for walkers exploring the waterfront and the surrounding South Devon countryside.

Well-behaved dogs are invited to join you in the cosy interior, making it an easy choice when you don't want to leave them outside. The pub serves food and drink throughout the day and the riverside setting makes it particularly handy for those arriving on foot or by ferry.

There's no parking directly outside, so if you're driving, use The Ham Car Park or The Level Car Park in Dartmouth and take the short crossing over. It's a practical base for a River Dart walk or a Dittisham wander and the kind of place where muddy paws and a quiet pint go hand in hand.
