Days Out Are For Dogs Too

The Finnygook Inn is a dog-friendly pub perched on the coastal road between Crafthole and Portwrinkle, a few miles west of Looe. Dogs are welcome inside the pub, so the whole group can settle into the cosy bar area without anybody drawing the short straw for pavement duty.
Food is served Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes and evenings and Sunday lunch runs until 4pm. The kitchen closes between sittings, but the timing works well for a coastal walk followed by an indoor table where your dog can supervise proceedings from underneath.
The pub opens from 4pm on Mondays and from midday the rest of the week, closing at 11pm Tuesday to Saturday, 10pm Monday and 9pm Sunday. It's a useful stop for walkers exploring this quieter stretch of the south Cornwall coast and the bar-and-restaurant layout means there's space for muddy paws and tangled leads without disrupting the dining room.
