The George III is an estuary-side pub at Penmaenpool, five and a half miles from Barmouth, where dogs are welcome inside the bar and dining areas. It sits on the edge of the Mawddach, making it a useful stop after a coastal walk or drive around the estuary. The official site calls it extremely dog friendly and indoor dining with your dog is confirmed.

Food is served, so the whole group can settle in for a proper meal rather than just a pint. There's no on-site parking mentioned, but the location works well as part of a longer day out in Snowdonia.

The pub also offers hotel rooms, so it doubles as a base for exploring the estuary and hills. Opening hours aren't published reliably online, so it's worth checking ahead if you're making a special trip.
