Haulfre Tea Rooms is a scenic tea room on the Great Orme in Llandudno and dogs are welcome inside. It's a useful stop for walkers exploring the headland or visitors who'd rather keep their dog with them than leave them tied outside in the wind.

The tea room serves a traditional menu in a sit-down setting and the indoor welcome means you can settle in together after a clifftop loop or before heading on toward the gardens. Roadside parking near the Great Orme approach is limited, so plan accordingly if you're arriving by car.

It's the kind of place that works for both a planned break and a spontaneous pit stop when the weather turns. Dogs are allowed in the tea room itself, which takes the usual juggle of leads, bags and damp paws out of the equation.
