Henrietta Pyewacket in Looe is a magical little shop packed with wizarding-world delights, and dogs are welcome inside. It's the kind of stop where the human inner child gets to run free and the dog gets to be your loyal familiar, shadowing you aisle-to-aisle and guarding your choices while you whisper about spells and house pride.

It's brilliant for a town wander because it's fun, quick to dip into, and leaves you with that holiday feeling of finding something special. Expect plenty of "look at this" moments and at least one purchase your dog will pretend was their idea.

Your dog takes their role seriously: occasionally looking concerned when you start debating house colours, but mostly just pleased nobody's doing the pavement-waiting shuffle. It's a proper dog-friendly browse, and the kind of place that makes a rainy-day wander feel like an adventure.
