Justin Chocolatier is a proper old-town Whitby sweet stop, known for handmade chocolates, fudge, and toffee that feel delightfully giftable even when they mysteriously never make it home. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle while someone else makes deeply important treat decisions.

Tucked among the cobbled streets, it's the sort of place that adds a little sugar-fuelled ceremony to a Whitby wander, whether you're picking up souvenirs or simply rewarding yourself for all that very demanding sightseeing. There's a nostalgic, independent-shop feel to it that suits the town brilliantly.

A lovely one for a quick browse, a treat-heavy detour, and at least one serious internal debate about how much fudge is too much fudge. Best for calm dogs who can stay close in a smaller shop while humans browse.
