That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Larches Dog Fields in Thornbury offers two secure, thoughtfully designed spaces, The Paddock and The Meadow, each around two acres and fully enclosed for safe, private off-lead time. It’s the kind of setup that removes all the usual background worry, so dogs can properly run, explore and switch off while you relax into it.

Both fields are built with enrichment in mind, with features like tyres, tunnels, sandpits, logs and banks to keep things interesting beyond just a flat runaround. There’s also a strong focus on comfort and practicality, with shelter, seating, fresh running water, on-site parking and a well-planned layout that makes arrivals and departures feel calm and straightforward.

Sessions are exclusive to your booking, so there are no surprise encounters, making it ideal for reactive or nervous dogs, those in training, or anyone who just wants a quieter, controlled environment. It works just as well for high-energy dogs who need space to burn it all off as it does for slower, confidence-building sessions where everything feels a bit more manageable.
