Le Petit Café is a relaxed café-crêperie on Harbour Street in Whitstable, serving coffee, crêpes and homemade fare throughout the week. Dogs are welcome inside, so your lead-tangler can settle under the table while you work through the menu without the guilt of leaving anyone outside.

The spot sits in the heart of Whitstable's harbour quarter, making it a useful pitstop between beach walks and town centre wandering. Indoor seating means you're covered when the coast decides to drench you and the cosy feel suits year-round visits with or without sand in your pockets.

Open Monday to Wednesday 8.30am to 5pm, Thursday to Saturday 8.30am to 9.30pm and Sunday 8.30am to 9pm, it works for early coffee stops and evening bites. Harbour Street means plenty of dog-friendly exploring within leash distance once you're fuelled up.
