That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Left Handed Giant Brewpub in Bristol is the heart of the brewery's operation, a lively waterside space where the gap between brewing and drinking is about as small as it gets. Opened in 2019 and crowdfunded by a community of supporters, it carries that sense of shared ownership, with people coming not just for the beer but for the atmosphere that builds around it. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle.
Set within a site with over 250 years of brewing history, it blends that heritage with a modern, open feel, where tanks, taps and tables all sit close together. It's the kind of place where you can see the process, taste the results and settle in for longer than planned, whether that's a quick pint turning into a few or a full session by the water.
Dogs pad in alongside, finding a spot while the conversation, glasses and energy keep flowing. It's proper pub energy with craft beer and dog-friendly welcome, useful for post-walk pints or wet-weather afternoons when everyone needs somewhere warm to land.
