That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

New Cut Coffee sits right on Bristol’s floating harbourside, bringing together speciality coffee, cakes and solid, no-fuss food in a spot that naturally pulls people in mid-wander. Founded by two long-time Bristol coffee scene regulars, it leans into doing the basics exceptionally well, with carefully sourced beans, well-made drinks and a steady stream of fresh bakes and sandwiches.
There’s a relaxed, community feel to it, with big tables, waterside views and that easy rhythm of people dropping in, lingering, then staying longer than planned. It works just as well as a quick coffee stop as it does for a slower reset by the harbour, with dogs padding in alongside and settling while the coffee does its job.
