Old Scalby Mills is a dog-friendly pub with sea views in a cracking position at the edge of North Bay. It is the sort of place that earns its keep after a coastal walk, with hot food, a family-friendly feel and one of those views that can make a lunch stop drift into a longer one. Very good for salty-air appetites, scenic pauses and a dog who has just done enough sniffing to believe they deserve table-side rest and possibly tribute snacks.
