Ormesby Hall is a National Trust Georgian mansion set in extensive parkland, woodland and formal gardens near Saltburn-by-the-Sea. The historic house itself, the café and the bookshop welcome assistance dogs only, but the wider estate opens its arms to ordinary pet dogs on short leads across the garden, courtyards, parkland and woodland walks. It's the kind of place where you can spend half a day or more wandering the grounds without worrying about where your dog can and can't go.
The parkland stretches out far enough for a proper sniff and explore, while the formal gardens and courtyards offer calmer routes for dogs who prefer a gentle potter. Free parking sits 150 metres from the house, with mobility spaces and overflow EV charging.
Opening hours vary by season and area, so check the National Trust website before you visit. The house typically opens 10:30–17:30, the garden 10:30–17:00 and the café 10:30–16:30.
